1700RD is designed for interior residential multi-folding door
applications for
light panels
9" to 18" [229mm to 457mm] wide up to 80" [2032mm] tall. 6063T6 aluminum track with positive pivot lock,
4-way adjustable jamb bracket, four wheel 7/16" [11mm] dia.
hanger with removable plate and non-mortise lift off hinges. 14 – 16 gauge zinc trivalent plated
steel parts. Track lengths are available up to 192"

INSTALLATION
Doors suspended in perfect balance from
track, smooth door action, bottom guide track optional. 1st panel from
jamb must be 1/2 width.

EDGE MOUNT
INSTALLATION
Doors suspended from top edge of each panel
so all panels can be same width and for maximum panel coverage. Total
panel weight is to one side, bottom door guides and track recommended.

Allows
doors to hang naturally reducing possible door warpage. Offset roller
guides and pivots prevent door panels from binding in the open position.
Top hung
components automatically minimize gap at top of doors for best
appearance. Surface Mounted Pivots and Guides, No special hole drilling is required.

Door
panels are locked into place with Johnson's "quick release"
snap lock tab. Door panels can be easily installed or removed with the
flick of a clip.

Specially
designed two piece non-mortise hinge enables door panels to be removed
by simply lifting off. Nylon bearing surfaces provide long wearing
smooth action.

Compact
4-wheel hanger operates smoothly and distributes weight evenly. Hanger
plate detaches from wheels to allow easy door panel installation or
removal.

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1.
ORDER 170A TRACK TO DESIRED LENGTH.
Johnson
Hardware recommends that single track lengths be used wherever possible
to avoid door hangers passing over track joints. If multiple track
lengths are to be used ensure that track and door panels are positioned
so that no door hanger/guide passed over track joints. |
