Shown below are several configurations for Johnson
Hardware® Products. Johnson Hardware® is available in prepackaged sets with track lengths up to 96" (2438mm)
for quick and easy installation in standard applications, or is available
by the piece, with track lengths available up to 192" (4877mm) for
your custom application.
Component mounting locations are
located by
using the physical product rather than templates in most situations for
ease of installation. Expert

SLIDING
BYPASS DOOR |
|
Top hung sliding bypass door
hardware consists of 2 parallel track lengths (or track rails) mounted
in an opening allowing doors to 'bypass' each other. Top hung means that
all the door weight is carried from above by the track and hangers,
doors are only guided from below, no weight is supported at the bottom
of the door. |

In Bypass applications doors
are typically controlled with use of bypass door guides mounted to the
surface of the finished floor. Doors slide between upright post that
keep doors parallel to the track. |

Alternatively, for special
applications doors can be guided by the use of our 1705/1050 bottom
guide components. The 1705 bottom guide is individually mounted to the
bottom of each door and the 1050 bottom guide track can be surface or
flush mounted to the floor parallel to the tracks above. |

Johnson Hardware's® Wall Mounted Sliding Door Hardware is
ideally suited to applications where it is cost prohibitive or
structurally impossible to install a pocket door. Installation is
relatively straight forward and can be performed with minimal expertise.
The track system can be covered and trimmed out by the installer to
match other doors in the project. |
